Your diagnostic tool can receive power from the following sources:
The diagnostic tool can be powered from a standard AC outlet using the AC power supply. The AC power supply converts alternating current (AC) to direct current (DC) to power the diagnostic tool. The connector on the end of the output cable of the AC power supply connects to the AC power supply jack on the side of the diagnostic tool under the protective cover. Only use the AC power supply provided.
Only use Snap-on AC power adapter and cables. Never connect the AC power supply to the diagnostic tool when the diagnostic tool is communicating with a vehicle.

The diagnostic tool can also be powered using an optional 12VDC vehicle power cable adapter. The power cable adapter uses vehicle power (from a standard vehicle power port) to power the diagnostic tool. Contact your sales representative to order this accessory.
The Diagnostic Tool can be powered (when connected) by the optional docking station. When connected to the docking station, the internal rechargeable battery pack is recharged. Contact your sales representative for additional details.
